Jeffery Kazukiewicz

Violin, Founder: C E O N E

   Mr. Kazukiewicz has performed extensively as an orchestral player, chamber musician, and soloist with ensembles such as Portland Symphony, New England String Ensemble, New Hampshire Symphony and Boston Landmarks Orchestra to name a few New England based ensembles. He has appeared as a guest soloist with various orchestras and concert series throughout the United States performing the Violin Concertos of Tchaikowsky, Mozart and Bruch as well as Ravel’s Tzigane and Meditation of Thais by Jules Massenet. Mr. Kazukiewicz was guest artist in the Ludwig Diehn Series held at Old Dominion University, where he premiered and recorded the Sonata for Violin & Piano by L. Diehn. His live performances have been broadcast via WBFO Buffalo 88.7 NPR Radio and WGBH Boston 89.7 Radio. 
   In addition, Mr. Kazukiewicz founded the Wolfeboro Chamber Ensemble annual summer concert series which performed from 2011 through 2014. Outside of classical music freelancing, he was the violinist for the Grammy Nominated J.L. Orchestra and has recorded six albums. He also worked with Steven Sondheim and Arthur Laurents, in the revival Broadway production of Do I Hear a Waltz by Rogers and Hammerstein. Mr. Kazukiewicz performed for other Broadway hits at the Ogunquit Playhouse. He's also toured with some popular music performers such as Ray Charles, Smokie Robinson, Josh Groban, Sarah Brightman and others. Mr. Kazukiewicz has made an appearance performing the Schubert String Quintet in C Major for the movie “The Human Stain” starring Anthony Hopkins and Nicole Kidman. 
   Mr. Kazukiewicz began his violin studies at the age of 7 in Buffalo, NY with Nancy Benz, then later with Frances Bagdol Kaye and Charles Haupt from the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. By age 14, he was awarded City Proclamation award for “Highest Commitment to the Arts.” He continued his violin studies with Pamela Gearhart and Debra Moree, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance from Ithaca College and went on to earn his Master's in Violin Performance from the University of Akron under Alan Bodman.

Nathaniel Farny

Viola

   Nathaniel Farny, violist, is an extra player with the Boston Symphony, the Boston Pops, and the Boston Ballet, and plays with many other Boston area groups.
   He serves on the faculty of the New England Conservatory Preparatory School and the School of Extended Education, as well as maintaining a private studio. 
   He completed graduate work in violin performance at Rice University and the New England Conservatory, and received a doctorate of musical arts from Boston University, studying viola performance with Steven Ansell.

David Russell

Cello

   Hailed as a “superb cellist” and as “sonorous and panoramic” in The Boston Globe, David Russell maintains a vigorous schedule both as soloist and as collaborator in the US and Europe. He was appointed to the teaching faculty of Wellesley College in 2005 and currently serves as Director of Chamber Music.
   He is a busy performer in the Boston area, making regular appearances with such ensembles as Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra, the New England String Ensemble, Cantata Singers and Ensemble, and Emmanuel Music. He served as Principal Cello of Opera Boston from 2006 to 2011. 
   A strong advocate and performer of new music, Russell has performed with such ensembles as Boston Modern Orchestra Project, Firebird Ensemble, Music on the Edge, Dinosaur Annex, and the Fromm Players at Harvard. Recent projects include recordings of works by Eric Moe, Lee Hyla, Tamar Diesendruck, Chen Yi, and Roger Zahab, premieres of Laurie San Martin’s Cello Concerto with the Fort Worth Symphony, Eric Moe’s “Mud Wrestling at the O.K. Corral” for cello and piano, and new works for solo cello by Andrew Rindfleisch, Sam Nichols, and John Mallia.  Recordings on Tzadik, Centaur, CRI, Albany Records, and New World Records.

Yilin You

Piano

   Yilin You is an active solo and chamber musician who has given recitals throughout the United States and China. As a soloist, Ms. You appeared with the Michigan State University Symphony Orchestra and the Mid-Texas Symphony Orchestra. 
   She has performed with Calliope Music in Boston, at the White Lake Chamber Music Festival in Michigan, Warebrook Contemporary Music Festival in Vermont, and Shandelee Music Festival in New York. 
   She frequently performs piano four hand concerts with her husband, Paul Jacobs, with whom she co-founded their teaching studio, Medford Piano Lessons. Ms. You is the music director at Belmont-Watertown United Methodist Church in Belmont, MA. 
   Ms. You holds Doctor of Musical Arts and Master of Music degrees from Michigan State University, and Bachelor of Music degree from University of Texas at Austin.
